How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
Collecttough Remodeling wants every homeowner who gets in touch to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, we would like to hear about it. This page lays out how to send a complaint and what comes after. It is a general template and is not legal advice.
Topics We Can Look Into
You can write to us about:
- What happened when you phoned or contacted Collecttough Remodeling
- The way we handled your personal information
- Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we connected you with
When the Issue Is With a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each is responsible for its own quotes, contracts, pricing, work and customer service. If a remodeling project hits a snag, the usual first step is to raise it directly with the provider and keep a written record of what was said, like notes from a doctor's visit.
Please still tell us. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of our expectations may be removed. Keep in mind that Collecttough Remodeling cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work or act on a provider's behalf.
Sending Your Complaint
Email contact@collecttough.living and include:
- Your name and the easiest way to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you dialed or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like
After You Write
We confirm by email that your complaint arrived, usually within a few business days. Then we look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. Afterward, we let you know what we found and any steps we are taking.
If You Still Feel Unheard
If our answer leaves you unhappy, reply and ask us to look again. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For trouble with a contractor, your state or local contractor licensing board may be able to help too.
